  Milk 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Sugar 3 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Unsalted butter 2 Tablespoon
  Flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Egg 1
  Glaze 1 Tablespoon
Egg 1 , beaten with 1 tablespoon water

5 Punch down dough. Divide into 3 equal pieces. Roll into long ropes and then braid. Make glaze and brush on loaf.
6 Place on greased baking sheet. Brush with glaze. Cover; let rise until double€”about 40 minutes.
7 Bake in a preheated 350°F oven 45-55 minutes or until done. Cool on wire rack.
