Cabbage And Salt Pork
|Salt pork||1 Pound, cubed|
|Onions||3 , chopped|
|White cabbage||1 , shredded|
|Freshly ground black pepper||To Taste|
|Flour||2 Tablespoon (Combined With 2 Tablespoons Cold Milk)|
|Cold milk||2 Tablespoon (Combined With Flour)|
Bring milk and salt pork to a boil.
Add onions, shredded cabbage, salt, pepper and nutmeg and cook gently for 20 minutes or until the vegetables are tender.
Add the flour mixture to the cabbage, stirring constantly.
Cook until slightly thickened.
