|Onions||3 , chopped|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), crushed|
|Cumin seed||1 Teaspoon, crushed|
|Tomatoes||3 Medium, chopped|
|Green peppers||4 , chopped|
|Thick sour cream||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Cut the meat into 1 1/2 inch cubes; brown on all sides in heated fat in skillet.
Add onion and garlic; sprinkle with paprika; continue cooking 3 or 4 minutes.
Add a small amount of water.
Season to taste with salt and add cumin.
Cover and simmer 40 to 50 minutes.
Add chopped tomato and green pepper; cover casserole and cook until done.
Add more seasoning, if needed.
Remove from heat and blend in sour cream.
