|Food coloring||3 Drop (Use Red Or Green)|
|Cold water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Hot water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sugar||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Confectioner's sugar||1 Tablespoon|
|Orange||1 , juiced|
|Grated orange rind||1|
|Pistachio nuts/Toasted almonds||1 Tablespoon|
Soften gelatin in cold water.
Combine sugar and hot water and heat to boiling.
Add softened gelatin and simmer for 20 minutes.
Add orange juice and rind and coloring.
Strain into loaf pan.
The pan should be large enough so that the mixture is from 1/2 to 1 inch deep.
Add nuts if desired.
Chill until firm.
When cold turn onto a board, cut into cubes, and roll in confectioners' sugar.
