Braised Celery With Swiss Cheese And Almonds

Ingredients
  Water 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Ground red pepper 1 Dash
  Celery strips/Thin celery slices 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Process swiss cheese slices 2 1⁄4 Ounce, cut in half diagonally (Three Slices Weighing 3/4 Ounce Each)
  Sliced almonds 2 Tablespoon
Directions

Preheat broiler.
Combine water and red pepper in large skillet; bring to a boil over high heat.
Add celery; reduce heat to low.
Cover and simmer 5 minutes or until celery is crisp-tender; drain.
Arrange celery in shallow 2-quart casserole or ovenproof platter.
Top with cheese; sprinkle with almonds.
Broil 3 inches from heat source 1 to 2 minutes or until cheese melts and almonds are golden.
