Easy Borsch

Ingredients
  Water 1 Quart
  Shredded cabbage 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Dehydrated onion flakes 1 Tablespoon
  Instant beef broth and seasoning mix/Instant chicken broth and seasoning mix / combination of both 1 Ounce (5 Envelopes)
  Canned beets 8 Ounce, shredded, reserve liquid
  Tomatoes 2 Medium, cut up
  Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon
  Artificial sweetener 1 Teaspoon (To Equal 2 Teaspoons Sugar)
Directions

In large kettle combine water, cabbage, onion flakes and broth mix.
Bring to boil, simmer and cook 30 minutes.
Add beets with liquid from can, tomatoes and lemon juice; cook 15 minutes longer.
