Dutch Apple Pie
|Sliced apples||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Brown sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Rich milk/Sweet cream / 6 tablespoons sour cream pastry for one 9 inch crust||4 Tablespoon|
Make crumb mixture by combining sugar, butter, flour and cinnamon.
Place sliced apples in unbaked pie shell.
Sprinkle crumb mixture over top.
Put tin foil or a damp strip of cotton around edge.
Bake in a 450 degree oven for thirty minutes.
Reduce heat to 400 degrees and bake for fifteen minutes longer.
