|All purpose flour||3 Cup (48 tbs)|
|Milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|White sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Black currants||6 1⁄2 Ounce (Half A Box)|
|Baking powder||3 Teaspoon (Use Magic)|
|Shortening||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Fleisch margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Mix flour, salt, sugar, nutmeg and Magic Baking Powder in mixing bowl.
Cut in shortening and Fleischmann's Margarine.
Mix well as for a pie crust, add currants.
In a separate bowl, beat egg and add milk; stir into rest of ingredients.
Roll out dough on floured wax paper.
Using a juice glass, cut to shape.
Bake on top of stove at 200° on a lightly greased griddle.
