Swedish Beet Apple Salad

|Sliced beets||1 Pound (Or Fancily Sliced)|
|Cider vinegar||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Dry minced onion||2 Tablespoon|
|Apples/2 small apples||1 Large, cored and sliced with peel on|
Drain beets, reserving juice.
Measure 1/3 cup beet juice and combine with 2/3 cup vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper.
Pour over beets and sliced apples.
Let stand several hours to pickle.
