Welsh Rabbit In Chafing Dish
|Butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Sharp cheddar cheese||2 Pound, shredded|
|Worcestershire sauce||2 Teaspoon|
|Dry mustard||1 Teaspoon|
|Cayenne pepper||To Taste (Few Grains)|
|Eggs||4 , slightly beaten|
|Light cream/Half and half||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
In a chafing dish blazer over simmering water, melt butter.
Add cheese and heat, stirring occasionally, until cheese is melted.
Mix in Worcestershire sauce, dry mustard, and cayenne pepper.
Blend eggs and cream; strain.
Mix into melted cheese.
Cook until thick, stirring frequently.
Garnish with parsley sprigs.
