Hungarian Goulash

Ingredients
  Flour 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Salt 1 Tablespoon
  Lean beef 1 1⁄2 Pound, cut into 1 inch cubes
  Onion 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs), chopped
  Green pepper 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), chopped
  Vegetable shortening 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Tomatoes 1 Can (10 oz)
  Paprika 1 Teaspoon
  Pepper red 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Carrot 1 Cup (16 tbs), strips
  Celery 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped
Directions

Combine flour and salt; add beef cubes and toss lightly to coat.
Add to large skillet with onion and green pepper; cook in hot vegetable shortening until browned.
Add tomatoes, paprika, and pepper.
Cover and cook over low heat for 20 minutes or until meat is tender.
Add vegetables and cook 20 minutes more.
Drop Dumplings from tablespoon onto hot mixture; sprinkle with paprika.
Cover; steam 15 minutes.
