  Flour 1 1⁄2 Pound
  Cheese curd 1⁄2 Pound
  Sour cream 5 Cup (80 tbs)
  Butter 3 Ounce
  Sugar 7 Ounce
  Eggs 6
  Vanilla stick 1⁄4
  Sultanas 2 Ounce
  Salt To Taste
  Vinegar 1 Dash

Prepare retes or strudel pastry from 3 oz. flour, a little butter, vinegar, salt and lukewarm water.
Knead a stiff pasta from the remaining flour and two eggs.
After rolling out the paste, cut out a piece large enough to cover the bottom of the baking tin, cook in salted water and then put into the baking tin.
Sieve the curd cheese finely, and mix in the egg yolks, the sugar, the sultanas, some salt and the stick of vanilla.
Then add the remaining rolled out paste cut into noodles, which should be cooked, mix all together, add the stiffly beaten whites of egg and put on top of the sheet of paste in the baking tin.
Sprinkle the top with butter, put the retes pastry which should be pulled out thin on top in layers, sprinkling each layer with butter, finally sprinkling the top with butter.
Bake in a moderate oven for 45 mins.
