90 Second Irish Stout Marinaded Tri-Tip Steak

Chef Cari grills up the perfect St. Patrick's day steak, in this episode of 90 Seconds in the Kitchen.It's cooked to perfection and marinated in a rich, savory, and dark stout.

Ingredients

Fresh chopped basil 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Chopped shallots 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Grated lime zest 1 Tablespoon
Lime juice 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Garlic 4 Clove (20 gm) , minced
Chopped fresh thyme 1 Tablespoon
Kosher salt 2 Teaspoon
Black pepper 1 Tablespoon , freshly ground
Extra virgin olive oil 1/3 Cup (5.33 tbs) ((1 bottle, such as Guinness))
Stout beer 12 Ounce

Directions

MAKING:

In a bowl, combine basil, shallots, lime zest, lime juice, garlic, thyme, salt, pepper, olive oil, beer and whisk well.

Pour into zip lock bag and place steak in to it.

Allow to marinate overnight in refrigerator.

Cook as desired.
