Canned shredded sauerkraut | 24 Ounce , undrained | |
Onion | 1 , finely chopped ((medium to large)) | |
Celery | 1 Cup (16 tbs) , finely chopped | |
Green pepper | 1 Medium , finely chopped | |
Canned diced pimento | 4 Ounce , drained | |
Sugar | 3/4 Cup (12 tbs) |
MAKING
1. In a large bowl, combine shredded sauerkraut, onion, celery, green pepper, and pimiento. Mix well.
2. Sprinkle sugar over top, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate 8 hours or overnight.
SERVING
3. Toss well and serve, leaving behind excess liquid.
