  Cream of tartar 1 Teaspoon
  Sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)

Beat egg whites and cream of tartar in large mixer bowl until frothy.
Beat in sugar 1 tablespoon at a time; beat until stiff peaks form.
Use as recipe directs.
