Bean Curd Machine

 

Bean Curd Machine is a device which makes bean curd – also known as tofu – from soybeans or soya bean milk. Soybeans, water and coagulants such as calcium sulfate, magnesium chloride or nigari are put together in the machine. The machine churns the milk and once the milk begins to curdle the bean curd is retained and the liquid is strained out. The resulting bean curd is then pressed into molds to set as chunks of bean curd. Some soy milk machines double up as a bean curd machine, as the machine has both features – making milk from soy bean and bean curd from soy milk.

Regular Bean Curd Machine – This type of machine has an auto-control system, which makes the entire process automatic and requires just one person to operate the machine. This machine provides a closed cooking bean milk section where the temperature is over 100 degree C. This helps to remove all harmful elements from the resulting bean curd, safe for human consumption and having a good taste. It has a temperature control feature along with an alarm to denote the optimum temperature. This machine is energy efficient, keeps the production room clean and mess-free and produces a better quality of resultant food.

 

Dry Bean Curd Machine – This is a type of special machine used for extracting dry bean curd from soy milk or soy beans. It includes a slice machine and a hydrodxtractor which may be manual or hydraulic. It is easy to install and does not occupy much space. It has a compact machinery. Parts of the machine which come in contact with the food item are made of high quality stainless steel. It also has a feature which allows the user to set the thickness of the slices in which the bean curd is required.

While buying a bean curd machine one can first decide on which type of machine to buy from the two varieties available. One can also prepare bean curd with the help of some equipment once the soy milk has been made.
