Small Ground Beef Timbales
|Ground beef||1 Pound, quite lean, 500 g|
|Light cream||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), 125 ml|
|Quick cooking rolled oats||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), 125 ml|
|Celery||2 Tablespoon, 30 ml|
|Salt||1⁄2 Teaspoon, 2 ml|
|Pepper||1⁄4 Teaspoon, 1 ml|
|Thyme/Tarragon||1⁄2 Teaspoon, 2 ml|
Mix all the ingredients together in a glass bowl (Pyrex) with your finger tips.
Divide evenly into 6 to 8 buttered 6-oz (170 g) molds.
Set in a circular pattern in the oven.
Cover all with waxed paper or individually with plastic wrap.
Microwave 5 minutes at HIGH.
Let stand 5 minutes.
Unmold in a hot dish or indi-vidually on warm plates and cover with a Timbale Mushroom Sauce.
