Watermelon Fruit Basket
|Cantaloupe balls||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|White sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Cherry liqueur/Cointreau||2 Tablespoon|
|Fresh mint sprigs||8|
Watermelon half may be left as cut or notched for sawtooth edge.
Scoop out some of the melon center, and save removed pulp for next day's fruit cup.
In hollow, arrange other fruits.
Sprinkle fruit with sugar.
Cherry liqueur may be drizzled over.
Just before serving, decorate watermelon basket with mint sprigs.
To serve, start cut-ting from 1 end of basket, making thick slices, and spoon mixed fruits onto each slice.
