Eggnog

Ingredients
  Eggs 8
  Sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Rum 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
  Milk 1 Quart
  Heavy cream 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Nutmeg To Taste
Directions

In large bowl of electric mixer, beat eggs at high speed until thick and foamy.
At medium speed, gradually add sugar and salt.
Add rum and vanilla.
At low speed, gradually add milk.
Chill.
Before serving, whip cream; fold into egg mixture.
Pour eggnog into punch bowl.
Garnish with ground nutmeg.
