Eggnog Macaroon Molds
|Unflavored gelatin||1 Tablespoon (1 Envelope)|
|Sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Eggnog||2 Cup (32 tbs) (Canned Or Dairy)|
|Macaroon cookie crumbs||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (5 Cookies)|
|Whipping cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Maraschino cherries||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), sliced|
|Maraschino cherries with stems||8|
In saucepan, combine gelatin, sugar, and egg-nog.
Heat to dissolve gelatin.
Stir in cookie crumbs and rum.
Chill till partially set.
Whip cream; fold into eggnog mixture.
Fold in sliced cherries.
Pour into individual 1/2-cup molds.
Chill till firm.
Unmold into serving bowls.
Garnish with whole cherries and additional cookie crumbs, if desired.
