Eggnog Amandine

The Eggnog Amandine is one of my favorite drinks that can be served as a beverage. Prepared with eggnog and amaretto, the Eggnog Amandine are best served on family get together.
Ingredients
  Eggnog 1 Pint, chilled
  Grated orange peel 1⁄2 Teaspoon, grated freshly
  Orange extract 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Amaretto 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Toasted slivered almonds 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Grated orange peel 1 Teaspoon, grated freshly
  Whipped topping 1 Tablespoon (For Garnish)
Directions

1. In a deep 1 quart casserole with lid, combine eggnog, orange peel and orange extract; blend well. Cover and microwave at 100% (high)3 to 3-1/2 minutes, stirring every 1 minute, until heated through. Do not boil.
2. Stir in amaretto. Cover and microwave at 100% (high) 30 to 45 seconds or until heated through.
