Steamed Eggs With Shrimps
|Shrimps||1⁄2 Pound, shelled and deveined|
|Pork||1⁄4 Pound, minced|
|Scallion stalks||4 , finely chopped|
|Salt||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Scallion stalks||1 , finely chopped (for garnish)|
|Soy sauce||1 Teaspoon (for garnish)|
Chop the shrimps, add to the meat, mix well together and chop fine.
Add salt and scallions and mix thoroughly with the meat mixture till it is quite smooth.
Meanwhile, beat the eggs with 1/2 cup water until frothy.
Place the meat in the bottom of a deep ovenproof bowl and pour the eggs over the meat.
Place a rack in a large saucepan and fill up to 2 inches of water.
Place the bowl on the rack and steam for 30 minutes, or until the meat is thoroughly cooked.
Remove from the steamer and sprinkle the garnish on top.
Serve very hot.
