Caramel Nut Easter Eggs

Ingredients
  Sugar 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Light corn syrup 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Butter 1 Cup (16 tbs) (2 Sticks)
  Evaporated milk 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Chopped walnuts/Chopped pecans 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Vanilla extract 2 Teaspoon
Directions

Combine the sugar, corn syrup and butter in a heavy saucepan and bring to a boil.
Stir in the evaporated milk.
Cook over medium heat until mixture becomes chewy, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat.
Stir in the chopped nuts and vanilla.
Cool.
Knead until smooth and pliable.
Shape into eggs.
Brush with a mixture of beaten egg white and a little water; roll in finely chopped nuts.
