Eggs Baked With Onions

The eggs baked with onions recipe is a great side that can be served with any meal with rice or mashed potatoes. Cokked in the microwave, the onion rings are topped with eggs with chili powder and prepared along with milk. Sprinkled with cheese, the eggs baked with onions is a quite savory. Adapted from Sharp Microwave and Convection Cookbook.
Ingredients
  Onions 3 Medium, thinly sliced into rings
  Butter 1 Tablespoon
  Sugar 2 Teaspoon
  Butter 1 Tablespoon, extra
  Flour 2 Tablespoon
  Milk 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Grated cheddar cheese 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

Place onions and butter in a 23cm flan dish.
Sprinkle with sugar.
Cook for 14-16 minutes on HIGH, tossing occasionally.
Place half the onion rings in a buttered casserole dish.
Top with eggs; sprinkle with remaining onions (andchillipowder).
Melt butter for 30 seconds on HIGH.
Stir in flour.
Cook for a further 30 seconds on HIGH.
Gradually stir in milk.
Cook for 4 minutes on HIGH, stirring halfway through cooking.
Pour over eggs and sprinkle with cheese.
Preheat oven to 230°C.
Place on Low Rack; cook for 12-17 minutes on LOW MIX/BAKE 230°G
