Thai Steamed Eggs

The Thai steamed eggs is a classic Thai dish made with eggs steamed along with Thai chilies, spring onions, shallots and Thai seasoning sauce. Thai steamed rice goes well with almost anything but is best served with hot jasmine rice along with a side salad.
Ingredients
  Eggs 5
  Water 2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs) (Equal 0.5 Cup Per Egg)
  Shallots 3
  Spring onions 2 (Scallions)
  Thai chillies 5
  Black pepper 1 Teaspoon
  Chicken stock powder 1⁄2 Tablespoon
  Thai seasoning sauce 2 Tablespoon
  Celery 2 Tablespoon
  Lime 1
Directions

Prime your steamer and get the water boiling before adding the eggs

Place the bowls of egg into the steamer (see photos above) bung the lid on and leave for 10 minutes before checking

If they have firmed up at the ten minute stage place a sprig of celery or coriander leaves on top of each and cook a further 2-3 minutes

I love boiled eggs and would like to try the steamed eggs too. I think the steamed eggs should be tastier!

Eggs are always my big weekness. I simply cherish eating eggs. Your recipe has given me a new way to cook an egg. I will try this easy to make recipe this saturday.
