Ham and Eggs Cocottes

1) Preheat the oven to 375°F.
2) Brush small individual dishes lightly with butter.
3) Place a slice of chopped ham in each dish.
4) Crack an egg over the ham in placed in each dish.
5) Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste,
6) Bake just above centre in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, or until the eggs are just set.
7) Serve the Ham and Eggs Cocottes immediately.
