Alpine Eggs

Ingredients
Eggs - 6
Cheddar Cheese - 3/4 pound ?(350gram)
Butter - 1 ounce (25 gram)
Salt to taste
Pepper freshly ground
Snipped Chives - 1 dessert spoon
Directions

MAKING
1) Into a shallow oval dish, cover the base with half of grated cheese
2) Break eggs onto cheese, season with salt and pepper
3) Fleck butter here and there
4) Bake in the oven for 15 minutes till the cheese has melted and eggs are set

SERVING
5) Sprinkle snipped chives before serving with some crusty bread and a green salad
