A Fricassy Of Eggs Lady Powiss Receipt
|Eggs||6 , hard-boiled and thinly sliced|
|Dry red wine/Dry white wine||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Anchovy||1 , filleted, soaked in water for 30 minutes, drained, patted dry and chopped|
|Fines herbes||1 Teaspoon|
|Grated onion||1 Teaspoon|
|Lemon peel||1 Teaspoon, freshly grated|
|Grated nutmeg||1 Teaspoon|
1.In a frying pan, put the sliced egg along with butter.
2.Once heated, remove the butter and put the eggs in red or white wine as per the preference along with anchovy, onion, herbe and lemon peel.
3.Let the ingredients boil.
4.Meanwhile, blend the egg yolks with 1 tablespoon of wine and nutmeg.
5.Transfer the yolk into the pan and cook until thick.
