Ingredients
  Gelatin 1 Tablespoon
  Cold milk 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Eggs 2 , separated
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Scalded milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Cream 1 Cup (16 tbs), whipped
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Pinch
Directions

MAKING
1) In a bowl, soften the gelatin in cold milk and keep soaked for 5 minutes
2) In another bowl, add the egg yolk along with the sugar and beat the mixture using an electric mixer
3) Pour in the scalded milk and then cook over a low heat till it coats the back of a spoon
4) Add in the gelatin
5) In a bowl, add the egg whites and using an electric mixer, beat till stiff
6) Add in the whipped cream
7) Fold in whites along with the vanilla and the salt into the cooked mixture
8) Pour the mixture into baking cups and then place in the refrigerator to chill
9) Atop each baking cup, sprinkle in macaroon crumbs

SERVING
10) Serve with some macaroon crumbs and some whipped cream and cherries to go
