Northwest Huckleberry

Ingredients
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Egg 1
  Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon
  Sifted all purpose flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Milk 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Huckleberries/Blueberries / 1 package, 10 ounces frozen blueberries, thawed and drained 2 Cup (32 tbs) (Fresh)
  Spice crumb topping 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Adjust Quantity As Needed)
Directions

In a mixing bowl cream together butter and sugar.
Beat in egg and vanilla.
Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt.
Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk.
Turn into buttered 8- or 9-inch square baking pan.
Sprinkle evenly with huckleberries, then with Spice-Crumb Topping.
Bake in preheated moderate oven (375°F.) for 40 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Makes 8 servings.
