Poached Eggs

Ingredients
  Water 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Salt 1 Tablespoon
  Eggs 4
  Buttered toast slice 4
Directions

1. Heat water to boiling; add salt.
2. Break eggs 1 at a time into a cup or saucer. Slip 1 egg after the other into the boiling water. Reduce the heat and let the eggs stand; the water just under boiling; the pan covered, 3 to 5 minutes, or until the white is set and a thin film has formed over the yolks.
3. With a slotted spoon or a skimmer, remove eggs to slices of hot buttered toast.
