|Butter/Margarine / fat / salad oil||2 Tablespoon|
|Minced onion||1 Tablespoon|
|Milk/1 cup evaporated milk and 1 cup water||2 Cup (32 tbs) (Bottled Milk)|
|Pepper||1 Dash (Few Grains)|
|Minced parsley||1 Tablespoon|
|Hard cooked eggs||6 (Shelled)|
Melt the butter in the top of a double boiler over direct heat.
Add the onion and simmer until tender.
Then stir in the flour and next the milk, salt, pepper and parsley.
Cook over boiling water, while stirring, until smooth and thickened.
Then add the hard-cooked eggs, cut in slices, quarters, halves or eighths.
Heat and serve on toast, in Patty Shells.
