|Butter||1 Cup (16 tbs), softened|
|Confectioners sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Rum extract||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|All purpose flour||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)|
|Colored sugar||1 Tablespoon|
In asmall mixing bowl, cream butter and confectioners' sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in the egg and rum extract.
Combine the flour and salt; gradually add to the creamed mixture.
Using a cookie press fitted with a disk of your choice, press cookies 1 in.apart onto ungreased baking sheets.
Sprinkle with colored sugar.
Bake at 375 degrees for 6-9 minutes or until lightly browned.
Cool for 2 minutes before removing to wire racks.
