Eggs En Croute
|Thin bread slices||4 (French Or Italian)|
|Butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), melted|
|Cheese sauce/Tomato sauce||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Scoop a small hollow out of center of each bread slice and discard.
Dip each slice in melted butter and place on baking sheet.
Break an egg into each hollow.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Bake in a preheated 325°F oven until eggs are set.
