Old Fashioned Poached Egg
|Water||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|White vinegar||1 Teaspoon|
|Black pepper||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Bread slice||1 (toasted)|
Heat water to the boiling point in a small skillet.
Add the vinegar, salt, and pepper.
Break egg into a cup and gently slip into the boiling water.
With a spoon or fork, make a whirlpool effect in the water.
Reduce heat to allow water to simmer.
Cook until egg is firm.
