Shrimp And Egg Newburg
|Low calorie margarine||3 Teaspoon|
|Skim milk||1 Quart|
|Cooked frozen shrimp||6 Ounce (Brilliant)|
|Newburg sauce||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Egg yolks||2 , uncooked|
|Hard cooked eggs||3|
|Noodles||3 Cup (48 tbs), cooked|
|Bread slices||10 , toasted|
Melt margarine in the top of a double boiler.
Add 3 c. (750 mL) of the milk, the salt, shrimp, and Newburg Sauce.
Combine egg yolks and remaining milk in a small bowl.
Whip or beat to blend.
Stir into shrimp mixture; cook and stir until thickened.
Cut the hard-cooked eggs into quarters.
Add to the sauce and heat.
