How to make Eggs Benedict. Hollandaise sauce recipe, poached eggs, Canadian bacon, and English muffin. A classic breakfast recipe!
Egg yolks | 3 | |
Water | 4 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Butter | 10 Tablespoon , melted (((5 ounces, preferably unsalted))) | |
Lemon juice | 1 Tablespoon (((to taste))) | |
Salt | To Taste | |
Hot sauce | 1 Dash (((such as Tabasco, optional))) | |
English muffins | 2 , split | |
Canadian bacon slices | 4 | |
Poached eggs | 4 |
MAKING:
For hollandaise sauce, place a bowl over saucepan with water as shown in the video.
Heat the saucepan and whisk egg yolk with water in it.
Add melted butter and stir over medium heat until thickened.
Turn off heat and add lemon juice, salt and hot sauce.
Toast muffins, Canadian bacon slice and keep it ready.
Place muffins and top with bacon slice, poached egg and hollandaise sauce.
