It is very important to keep in mind that only whatever we eat is not important, but other things such as how do we eat, what we are talking while eating, etc. are equally important. We have a satiety center in our brain, and it need to be signaled for our fulfilled stomach.
If we eat foods by properly chewing them, the satiety center receives messages more powerfully.
If our taste bud thoroughly enjoy the food we eat, satiety center will maintain the right amount of balanced food in our diet.
If we enjoy the aroma of food, our digestive system get stimulated. It leads to the stimulation of satiety center.
Satiety center also gets messages by the expansion of stomach. Our stomach needs 15-20 minutes for expansion after the meal.
So eat slowly, enjoy the taste, chew your food very well and always eat for at least 15-20 minutes.
