Sea bass is a healthy species of fish, which is lovingly eaten by people around the world. However, people usually get confused about how to eat sea bass in a best possible manner. Rich in Omega 3 fatty acids and considered one of the prime sources of vitamin A, sea bass helps in preventing various health problems such as heart disease, lower cholesterol and blood pressure. The cold-water variety of sea bass is extremely popular as it offers a compact texture, light flavor and high levels of fat. As opposed to various other popular sea foods, the sea bass is quite affordable and extremely simple to prepare. There are many methods of cooking sea bass just to suit your taste.

Broiled Sea Bass


Following are the steps to be followed while cooking broiled sea bass:


1. Start with preheating the broiler.


2. Place the oven rack 4 inches below the heating coils of the oven.


3. Use some non-stick spray to coat the baking pan. Do this before putting all the sea bass fillets inside the pan.


4. Mix just about 1 teaspoon of minced garlic, 1/4 teaspoon of herb seasoning and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice. You can use a blender to do this step or can even blend the ingredients in a small bowl.


5. Sprinkle the above mentioned mix of ingredients over the fillets.


6. Now, use pepper to sprinkle on the sea bass fillets just to spice up taste.


7. Lastly, broil the sea bass for just about 9 minutes or till the time the entire fish fillet becomes dense. Now, use a knife to unlock the center part of every fish fillet to make sure that the sea bass is complete ready to consume.


Grilling Sea Bass


Following are the steps to be followed while grilling sea bass:


1. First of all, set up charcoal at least 25 to 30 minutes prior to grill the sea fish. The best choice of coals for grilling fish is the white coals.  These must be spread over an even layer in the grill.


2. Wash the fish pieces with cool, running water.  Pat them dry.


3. Pour just about 1 to 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a small bowl. Now, take a brush and use it to apply oil on all sides of the sea bass fish fillets.


4. Dust some salt, preferred herbs, pepper and other favorite spices over the fillets.


5. Lastly, grill fish for about 3 additional minutes on every side. Ideally, the fillets must become opaque by the end.
