Let's admit it. We need the carbs. They form the base of the food pyramid. And in that case, let us make that base foundation, a strong one. Stay away from the refined products in any form. Opt for products made from  whole grains. It could be whole wheat bread or whole grain cereals. You can eat anything as long as you know that it is made fro whole grains. Whole grains are rich in complex carbohydrates and fiber. Proteins and Omega-3 Fatty acids


Proteins are easily found in the common healthy foods. They include lean red meat, fish, milk, peas, peas and beans. Meat is an excellent source of protein but it also has several unhealthy fats. You just need to opt out for chicken or turkey instead of pork or beef. And as much as possible avoid frying the meat. Proteins are required to maintain healthy muscle tissue. Omega-3 fatty acids are mostly found in fish such as tuna, salmon and cod. Granola and flax seeds also contain Omega-3 fatty acids. Regardless of the country that you are in, you are sure to find them. Ok, maybe not in a Polar camp, but everywhere else you will find them for sure. Fruits and vegetables can be eaten by anyone and everyone. They are low in fat. You can have them any time during the day or in the night. They are low in calories and yet they are rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.
