Step 1: Cut down the center of the fish from the head to the tail using the table knife. Gently press down till you feel the backbone and cut slowly to the tail end.
Step 2: Gently glide the knife underneath one side of the fish along the top of the vertebrae.
Step 3: Next, lightly lift the fish meat from the bones.
Step 4: Use a spoon to help you with the other hand and gently work your way down the fish, sliding the fish fillet away from the bones.
Step 5: Repeat the same process for the other half of the fish. The process is indeed easy is the fish has been cooked properly.
