Liver Dumplings

Ingredients
  Pig's liver/Calf's liver 5 Ounce
  Flour 1 1⁄2 Ounce
  Lard 1 1⁄2 Ounce
  Fine breadcrumbs 1 Ounce
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Ground black pepper To Taste
  Onions 3⁄4 Ounce
  Marjoram 1 Pinch
  Egg 1
  Roll 1
  Parsley sprigs 1 , chopped
Directions

Fry finely chopped onions in lard until slightly brown.
Mince liver, add roll soaked in water first, season with salt, pepper and marjoram, then add fried onions, egg, bread crumbs, flour and finely chopped parsley; mix well, make dumplings from this dough and cook them in hot soup.
