Veal Stew With Dumplings

Ingredients
  Salt pork 1⁄8 Pound
  Flour 2 Tablespoon
  Veal breast/Shoulder 2 Pound
  Water 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Salt 2 Teaspoon
  Green pepper 1⁄2 , chopped
  Peas 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Dumplings 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

GETTING READY
1.Start by cutting the salt pork into cubes
MAKING
2.In a pan, fry the pieces until brown
3.Now add floured veal and cut into pieces and brown them in the pan too
4.Add 2 cups cold water, salt and green pepper and cover closely
5.Simmer for 1 1/2 hours
6.Now add peas and drop in dumplings
7.Cover closely and steam for 15 minutes
8.Do not remove cover until dumplings are done
SERVING
9.Serve with salads or vegetables
