Fruit And Dumplings
|Frozen raspberries||10 Ounce (1 Package, Thawed)|
|Canned sliced pears||16 Ounce|
|Ground cinnamon||1 Teaspoon|
|Biscuit baking mix||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Dairy sour cream||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Drain syrups from fruits into 4 cup glass measure; add enough water to measure 1 1/2 cups.
Stir in cornstarch, cinnamon and 1/3 cup sugar.
Microwave 2 minutes; stir.
Microwave until mixture boils and thickens, 2 to 3 minutes.
Com bine with fruits in round baking dish, 8 x 1 1/2 inches.
Mix biscuit mix, 2 tablespoons sugar, the sour cream and egg; spoon onto fruit mixture, forming a ring around edge of dish.
(Topping will cook toward center.)
Spoon some of fruit sauce over topping.
Microwave uncovered 3 minutes turn dish onequarter turn.
Microwave until topping is no longer doughy, 31/2 to 4 1/2 minutes
