Sausage Dumplings

Ingredients
  Tomatoes 1 Can (10 oz)
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
  Flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
  Bulk sausage 1⁄2 Pound
  Egg 1 , slightly beaten
Directions

Mash tomatoes in saucepan; season with salt to taste and pepper.
Bring to a boil.
Sift flour, baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon salt together; add sausage.
Mix well; add egg.
Drop by spoonfuls into tomato mixture; cook for 15 minutes.
