|Salad oil||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Milk||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
Remove crusts from bread; cube.
Combine oil, milk, egg and salt; pour over bread cubes.
Shape portions of kneaded mixture into 8 small loaves.
Wrap each loaf tightly in aluminum foil, sealing edges to make waterproof.
Drop wrapped loaves in boiling water; cook for 45 min- utes.
Remove foil; serve with gravy.
