|Flour||2 Cup (32 tbs), sifted|
|Baking powder||3 Teaspoon|
|Meat stock or chicken broth||1 (enough for boiling)|
Sift flour with baking powder and salt; cut in short- ening.
Add milk to make a drop batter.
Drop by spoonfuls into boiling stock.
Simmer, covered tightly, for 10 minutes.
Serve at once.
