Dumplings

Ingredients
  All purpose flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Shortening 2 Teaspoon
  Hot water 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
Directions

MAKING
1. In a large bowl, sift flour and salt; add shortening and hot water and work into a soft dough
2. roll the dough and on a surface dusted with flour to the thickness of 1/16 of an inch
3. Cut into rectangles of dimensions 1"X1.5" and sprinkle with flour amd sprinkle them with flour

SERVING
4. Serve/Use as appropriate
