This rich and flavorful recipe of Date Dumplings simply tastes heavenly and is a perfect dessert for all seasons. Relatively easy to make this Date Dumplingsis sure to pamper your taste buds. So just try it out and experience it for yourself!
Ingredients
  Flour 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Milk 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Dates 14 Cup (224 tbs), chopped
  Butter 1 Tablespoon
  Apricot jam 1 Tablespoon
  Cinnamon 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Ground ginger 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Soda bi carb 1⁄3 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 Pinch
Directions

Sift flour, salt and spices together.
Stir in dates and jam.
Mix soda with milk.
In a large saucepan, boil together: 4 cups water and 1 cup sugar.
Boil for a few minutes.
Then drop spoonsful of the dough into the boiling syrup.
Cover tightly with lid and boil for 15 minutes.
Serve with custard.
