Liver Dumplings

Ingredients
  Eggs 2 , separated
  Cracker crumbs 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Melted butter/Margarine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Ground liver 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Freeze Liver And Grind When Frozen)
  Onion 1 , grated
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Pepper To Taste
  Nutmeg 1 Pinch (Few Gratings)
Directions

Mix together beaten egg yolks, cracker crumbs, melted butter, liver, onion, and seasonings.
Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
Form into 24 rounded dumplings and cook in boiling soup for 5 to 6 minutes.
